Avocado & Toast, 3 New Ways To Mix It Up

Avocados. I love them. First off, they’re simple and delicious, but they’re healthy, too! Avocados are a great source of monounsaturated fat (which can improve our cholesterol levels, decrease risk of heart disease, and benefit our brain activity), they have vitamin E (a powerful antioxidant), and also vitamin B6 (promotes healthy skin and serves as a back-up fuel). Plus, they’re just darn delicious.
While avocados are a great addition to just about any healthy meal, just remember not to overdo it as this fruit can be fairly high in calories for those watching their calorie intake.

I have always loved cheeses, spreads and veggies on fresh sliced breads. Top it off with some sea salt and olive oil, you might think you are enjoying a delicious meal somewhere in Italy.
I am a huge fan of all things by Free People, their clothing, their lifestyle, their easy DIY crafts and especially their recipes. I found some great new variations of this magical green fruit to try from the Free People Blog, http://blog.freepeople.com/2014/08/3-variations-avocado-toast/?cm_mmc=facebookwall-_-Q32014-_-140814_avocadotoast-_-1

Also, they seem to know exactly where I am coming from with avocado and toast,
"In the world of soul-satisfying, easy to prepare food, nothing compares to avocado toast. Say the two words together — “Avocado. Toast.” — to any number of people and your assertion will likely be met with “ohhs”, “ahhs”, and “oh man, yes” — or some variation of the three. If a toast-based dish could have a cult following, this one would, and for good reason".
