Black Friday in Victoria

Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. In recent years, most major retailers have opened extremely early and offered promotional sales to kick off the holiday shopping season, similar to Boxing Day sales. The year 2012 saw the biggest Black Friday to date in Canada, as Canadian retailers embraced it in an attempt to keep shoppers from travelling across the border.
The City of Victoria has jumped on the Black Friday shopping band-wagon with amazing once-a-year sales, discounts and specials. Perfect for just before Christmas gifts and ideas.
If you are planning to do a bit of shopping tomorrow, you can start out early as The Bay Centre and Mayfair Mall are open at 7am with gifts, coffee and more. Next up would be Uptown Centre opening at 10am with some free gift cards to spend at the Centre.
